Aims of the BCIE(E)

• Unification and co-ordination of activities of its members, presentation and protection of their common interests, promotion of their active participation in social and economic processes.
• Contributing to economic growth of the Republic of Belarus, enterprises and organisations of all forms of ownership.
• Every possible development of civilised market relations and the system of social partnership in the Republic of Belarus.
• Contributing to development and strengthening of legality and law order, including in the field of economic activities and social-labour relations.
• Increase of professional level of industrialists, entrepreneurs, employers and specialists and of the prestige of their activities.

SUBJECT of the ACTIVITY:

• Establishment and support of tight professional ties between industrialists, businessmen and employers, creation of conditions for their active professional work.
• Protection of rights, economic, social and other legal interests of the members of the BCIE, and also of other subjects of management – business partners of the BCIE. Participation in examination of bills and other documents of normative nature.
• Participation in elaboration of the republican, branch and territorial tariff policy. Interaction with state bodies and trade unions in maintenance of effective employment of the population.
• Presentation of the interests of the members of the BCIE in state bodies, public, not-for-profit organizations and institutions.
• Contributing to search of investments into the economy of the Republic of Belarus and new markets for selling of products (works, services) of Belarusian manufacturers. Participation in elaboration and examination of investment and technical and economic programs.
• Contributing to rendering of consulting and marketing services to its members and business partners. Contribution in issues of incorporation, privatization and re-structuring of enterprises.
• Contributing to creation of effective systems of legal, economic, technical and other information, mass training, a system of retraining and improvement of professional skills of the personnel.
• Analysis and contributing to usage of advanced forms of implementation of industrial-enterprise activities, functions of employers, tariff policy.

METHODS of the ACTIVITY:

• Attraction and usage in interests of development of economy and social sphere of the Republic of Belarus of the potential of professional, competent managers, industrialists, entrepreneurs, employers, other specialists and businessmen, whose knowledge, skills and labour are a major warranty of achieving of the basic aims of the organization.
• Monitoring of the development of the non-state (private) and state sectors of the economy in the Republic of Belarus, comparison with the world economic processes, experience of economic reforms in the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
• Contributing to improvement of the normative-legal base of market economy with account of the advanced practice and scientific methods, bringing of them to the public.
• Organization of public functional councils (commissions) of the BCIE in the following areas: economy and finance, legal support, investment-technical development, social-labour problems, development of entrepreneurship, foreign economic relations and others.
• Creation upon decision of the participants of the BCIE of structures (economic societies) for implementation in the order, established by the current legislation, of production-economic (enterprise) activities, directed at solution of the statutory aims and tasks of the BCIE.
• Organization of temporary creative collectives for examination of bills and other documents in the interests of the members of the BCIE in the order established by the current legislation; participation in expertise of investment and technical and economic projects, bills and other documents of legal nature, elaboration of alternative projects of the said documents related to the activities of its members and business partners of the BCIE.
• Legal, economic and social protection of its members in bodies of state power and management, in other organizations.
• Contributing to development of manufacturing, scientific and market infrastructures (of labour, goods, services, securities, credits and finance, information and others).
• Contributing to provision of the members of the BCIE with special legal, economic, technological and other types of information.
• Participation in elaboration of proposals and practical development of the processes to integrate the economy of the Republic of Belarus into the world economy, including organization and holding of conferences, exhibitions, fairs, seminars, workshops and other actions in the field of exchange of experience and marketing.
• Organization of probation training and studies of the managers, specialists, entrepreneurs and other persons at the advanced enterprises of the Republic of Belarus and abroad.
• Contributing to establishment and development of international business co-operation of employers, industrialists, manufacturers and entrepreneurs, including organization of meetings with foreign industrial and business communities, representatives of associations of employers and industrialists, exchange of experience.
• Rendering of assistance to the bodies of state management in reforming of the system of social protection of the population, organization of the system of social insurance.
• Participation in formation and implementation of the state policy of professional training and personnel supply to enterprises and organizations who enter the organizations-members of the BCIE.
• Participation in negotiations and consultations on conclusion of agreements with trade unions and their associations.
• Other methods and directions of activities outgoing from the aims and tasks of the organization and not contradicting to the Charter and the current legislation.
